On the road again . . .
We left the hotel this morning around 10:30 and headed to the health food store to get some fresh carrot, apple, kale, ginger juice before going to Harley to pick up Jim's bike. When Jim called the afternoon before to check on progress, he was told that the bike should be ready around 12:00 noon. We got there a little after 11:30 and were told that they still had some work to do. We waited around a bit and then went to get some lunch. After lunch, Freddie told us that it would just be a bit longer. Around 4:30 we finally were loaded up and ready to go. Jim was happy to get his bike back and so was I! We left Kalispell planning to travel just 70 - 80 miles down the road to Libby. When we got there we found that there was an antique car gathering in the area and no hotel rooms anywhere nearby. We called around and found a campground that had some campin' cabins for rent in a nearby town called Troy. We are hoping to have a full riding day tomorrow, heading to the Redwood Forest.

ReplyDeletewell, he is now 50 you know [the whole reason for this fun-filled crazy 50 day trip]!! We are having a great time but these guys think we need to see everything in the country! We have had some VERY long riding days. Trying to get them to slow down a bit but the more I suggest slowing down the longer the days get.
