Great Sand Dunes National Park

We had a blast riding down the sand dunes on sand sleds at The Great Sand Dunes National Park.

We took some great action videos, but this  blog format won't let me post videos :( you'll have to check out Facebook to see those!

After our sand sledding adventures, we took a bumpy 4-wheel-drive tour around the area. Then we went on a hike to see Zapata Falls. We had to walk through FREEZING cold water to be able to see the falls, but it was worth it!

The next day we headed towards Denver so that Justin could catch a flight home. It was a great riding day, because we found some fun roads along the way.

Now it's time to head East and start making the trek towards home!

Durango, CO

We spent about five hours at the Pegosa Springs Hot Springs Spa (@ an hour outside of Durango). Multiple hot springs at different temps with  a "cold plunge" creek only steps away. Amazingly relaxing day!!! Any guesses who was the last one out?

The Lobster Pot was 113 degrees (just about right!)!

The next day we rode the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gage Railroad.

We only had about 30 minutes in Silverton before the bus left to take us back down to Durango.

Sherry had to leave us the next to go back to work. Scott took her to the airport in Durango. We had originally planned to leave the Durango area that day but decided to stay another day to ride the bikes on the amazing 'Million Dollar Highway". We rode 550 from Durango to Silverton, where we stopped for lunch and to spend some time around town. Then we rode 550 from Silverton to Ouray, and back. Awesome Ride! Amazing road! Amazing scenery!

Moab, Utah

During our sightseeing adventure in Moab, Jim hurt his knee and could walk!

He rode the cart back up to the room!

Thankfully, after prayer and a day of rest, Myofascial therapy, Epsom salt baths, and curcumin he was up and going again!!!

While Jim and I were taking a day of rest and therapy for Jim's leg, the rest of the gang went on a 4 mile round trip hike to Delicate Arch in Arches National Park.

and later took a sunset jeep tour to Baby Lions Back.
