Branson

In Branson we saw a couple of shows;

The Legends

and SIX

and rode some rides. We were planning to ride "The Pigtail" - Hwy. 23, but were sad to find out that a rock slide had the road closed for repair. We spent some time searching for other curves, and found a few on Hwy. 76.

While in the area, we also had lunch and did a little shopping in Eurika Springs.

Springfield

After a good nights rest, we headed on towards Springfield & Branson, Missouri.

We visited the first, and largest, Bass Pro Shop that's located in Springfield.

Springfield is the "Birthplace of Route 66", where we attended the "Birthplace of Route 66 Festival"

The Corn Palace

Next stop was Mitchell, Nebraska, where we visited the Corn Palace!

After leaving the Corn Palace, we "enjoyed" traveling alongside lots of corn fields. Some parts of our travels are exciting, others ... not so much. :)

We stopped for the night in Kansas City, but not before dropping by The Cafe Gratitude to pick up a RAWsome take out meal!

Sturgis Billboard; Wall Drug; The Badlands NP

Before heading out of town, we rode back to Sturgis to get a picture of "our" billboard. Jim and I made it to the big screen! Our picture is on a billboard in Sturgis, advertising for RoadTrek motor homes. :)

Next we stopped by Wall Drug, and then on to the Badlands!

We are famous! That's us on that billboard in Sturgis, SD. :)
