The first thing that seemed strange on this trip was heading off on our own towards Sedona when Scott & Raymond headed towards the painted desert. On all of our past motorcycle trips, Jim and I have always traveled in a small group. We've never traveled on our own. It felt like we were leaving someone behind!
The other thing that felt a bit strange was stopping by "home" for a day or so. We had the bikes serviced [oil changed, things checked etc.]. I mailed sales taxes, did payroll and answered just a few of the many emails that have piled up while we've been gone. Jim took care of a bit of work also [he deleted most of his emails that have piled up!]. We also unpacked, washed some clothes and repacked. Since we only had a day or so, we didn't have time to jump in and really get much done before packing things back up and heading out again. Weird. The most fun thing I did while at home was spend time with little Sarah . . she is such a cutie! Sadly, the other "grand" kiddos were not here while we were at home so we will have to see them when we get back [maybe we can "skype" with them again before we get back though]. Well, strange or not . . . here we go again!
