back in the saddle . . .

We got back on the road around 1:30 today. I left a few things to get done this morning and then a lengthy project delayed me further. Jim was patient on the surface . . . We headed out with plans to stop and spend two nights in Chattanooga. Because I was so late leaving, we had to take the interstate since it would have taken too long to travel back roads. It took us about 3 1/2 hours to get there so we made good time [interstates aren't that fun to ride on, but they do get you here more quickly . . .]. We lost an hour on the way up changing time zones, so we got to our room around 6:00. We are staying Chanticleer Inn which is a bed and breakfast made up of a group of cottages. It's really a neat place. Ginny Laine & John gave us a gift certificate to stay here! We will stay around Chattanooga tomorrow . . .
